연세대학교 건축공학과는 1965년 동문회 발족 이후 현재까지 학부 3,500여명, 대학원 1,100여명, 공학대학원 650여명의 전문가를 배출하여 왔으며, 건축계 각 분야뿐만 아니라 영화, 예술, 법률, 정치, 사업 등 다양한 분야를 이끄는 최고의 인재들이 사회 전반에서 빛을 발하고 있습니다. 연세대학교 총동문회는 학과를 통해 정기적인 후원 및 장학금을 전달해 오고 있으며, 매년 [연세건축전]를 통해 후배들의 졸업작품과 함께 동문들의 작품과 선후배간의 대화를 이어오는 등, 후배들의 배움이 더욱 풍성해질 수 있도록 동문들이 물심양면으로 도움을 주고 있습니다.

연세대학교 총동문회는 YA 신년파티를 비롯한 전체모임을 기획하여 친목을 도모하는 총동문회를 비롯하여, 연세건축가회, 연계회(계획동문), 연시회(시공동문), 연구회(구조동문), 연교회(교수동문), 연법회(법률동문) 등 각 전문분야 및 직종에 따를 소모임이 활성화 되어있습니다. 또한, 등산, 자전거, 영화 등의 취미중심 소규모 동문회가 조성되어 서로의 건강과 친목을 도모해 오고 있습니다.

Since the establishment of the alumni in 1965, Yonsei University Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering has produced numerous experts including 3,500 undergraduate students, 1,100 general graduate school students, and 650 engineering graduate school students. People with the best talents in not only architecture but film, art, law, politics, and business are active throughout society. Yonsei University Alumni Association has been delivering regular sponsorships and scholarships through the Department. The [Yonsei Architecture Exhibition] held annually is a good opportunity to share the works of both undergraduates and the alumni members, and a chance for everybody to communicate. The alumni provide continuous support both financially and educationally to aid the students in their learning.

Various groups are active among the alumni, including the Alumni Association which holds events for all the members to participate such as the YA New Year Party to encourage socializing, and smaller groups related to various professions – architecture design, planning, construction, structure, professors, law, etc. Small groups for people with similar hobbies such as hiking, cycling, and movies have also been created to encourage further socializing and communication.
